Board Members
Rishi Patel
Founder & President
Rishi is a freshman at Baylor University and founded Medical Maturity to broaden the scope of resources for students interested in medicine. He hopes to become a physician-researcher with a focus in neurology or cardiology. Rishi enjoys playing tennis and taking care of this fish.
Kayla Park
Board Member | Vice President of Programs
Kayla is a junior at Mill Creek High School looking forward to pursuing medical school. Kayla enjoys listening to music, playing instruments, and swimming outside of Medical Maturity. Aspiring to change lives, she believes that Medical Maturity will have a real impact with those who share a true passion for medicine.
Elyssabeth Pratt
Board Member | Vice President of Participation
A freshman at Texas A&M University, Elyssabeth’s dream is become a nurse working to provide more access to those without any form of healthcare. She enjoys reading, cooking, and playing cards when she’s not busy with Medical Maturity. Elyssabeth and wants to provide students a chance to prove their level of commitment.
Radha Thakrar
Board Member | Vice President of Events
A senior at Neuqua Valley High School, Radha hopes to pursue a career in the medical field with a focus in pediatrics. Radha joined to get exposure to current medical events and learn more about medical volunteering opportunities. Radha enjoys going on drives and playing badminton.
Sani Tripathi
Board Member | Vice President of Research
Sani is a junior at the University of Arkansas intending on pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. When she’s not studying for exams or mentoring students, Sabu enjoys spending time with family and watching sports. She hopes to change the competitive culture among pre-med students into a more healthy and collaborative environment.

Zara Syed
Mentor
A senior in high school, Zara hopes to study pharmacy in the future. Outside of Medical Maturity, she enjoys painting and playing the ukulele. Zara joined the team in efforts of continuing to expand her knowledge of new concepts and participate in volunteering with other organizations.
Kayla Giaimo
Mentor
Kayla G. is a junior at Stonehill College majoring in Biology. She intends on pursuing PA school with an interest in orthopedics or pediatrics. Outside of Medical Maturity, Kayla enjoys dancing and watching TikToks. She’s excited to be part of a community filled with members passionate about medicine and hopes to share her knowledge with everyone.
Rebecca Park

Rebecca is a rising sophomore at UC Berkeley interested in pathology and pursuing a career as a practicing physician. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys playing badminton, discovering new music, and watching nature documentaries. She is excited to work with other pre-med students and build new experiences with Medical Maturity.
